Hernan has extensive professional experience in investment funds and asset management companies, funds of funds (open-ended and closed-ended), segregated portfolio companies, structuring of direct investment vehicles, private equity and venture capital.

He started his professional career as an associate at Estudio O’Farrell and as a foreign associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in New York and Morgan, Lewis, London in Buenos Aires and more recently as a partner at Estudio Bosch Abogados, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Relevant experience:

Currently Director and General Counsel of Antarctica Asset Management Ltd, the investment fund management company with offices in London, New York, Tortola (BVI), Hong Kong and Geneva. Director of Antarctica Private (BVI) Ltd, the private equity and venture capital investment management company.

His professional experience in investment funds includes legal oversight and execution of day-to-day operations and initial structuring. Hernán has led legal teams responsible for private offerings of investment fund interests in various jurisdictions, primarily in Europe, the UK and Asia. In this capacity, he has led the legal and compliance management of marketing teams in regulated markets.

His local practice focuses on public offerings of transferable securities, financial restructurings, cross-border corporate acquisitions in the LATAM region and general corporate practice.
