Our Renewable Energy team is made up of professionals from the areas of Energy and Natural Resources, Project Finance, Infrastructure, Environment, Tax, and Foreign Trade.

With extensive experience in the energy sector, we provide legal advice to generators, transporters, and distributors of electricity on regulatory, contractual, and financial matters, covering both conventional and non-conventional renewable energy. We serve both national and international clients.

Our legal assistance includes regulatory matters, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, energy commercialization contract negotiations, and project development and financing.

The renewable energy sector has undergone significant changes in its legal framework, driven by the Argentine Government’s decision to promote this sector with the goal of improving and diversifying the energy matrix. A regulatory framework has been implemented that provides tax incentives and promotes power purchase agreements (PPAs) for renewable energy through public tenders and private agreements for non-regulated end-users.

Our team is highly qualified to address the new challenges in this sector, starting from the early stages of projects, including obtaining land rights, permits, authorizations, presentations to relevant federal, provincial, or municipal authorities, and assistance in preparing environmental and/or social impact assessments.
