Infraestructure

At Nicholson y Cano, we have a solid track record in infrastructure, construction, and engineering projects, supported by recognized partners who actively participate in institutional forums such as the Construction and Infrastructure Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) and the Infrastructure and Real Estate Committee of AMCHAM.

We offer a comprehensive service that covers everything from the legal structuring of projects to their financing and operation, with experience in both public and private works. Our services include various contractual modalities such as Public-Private Partnerships (PPP), Private Financing Initiatives (PFI), BOT, BOO, DBO contracts, and EPC/EPCM, as well as projects under the Large Investment Incentive Regime (RIGI).

We have been involved in large-scale projects integrating financing, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of public infrastructure. We specialize in key sectors such as telecommunications, gas pipelines, oil pipelines, industrial plants, petrochemicals, oil operation and maintenance services, energy generation, distribution, and transportation, highways, railroads, and seaports and maritime terminals.

Nicholson y Cano has advised on more than 100 projects in Argentina and Latin America, including Chile, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Venezuela, and Uruguay. Our support covers all stages of the project lifecycle, from risk assessment to the resolution of judicial and extrajudicial claims and arbitrations.

Additionally, we have extensive experience advising a wide range of stakeholders, including sponsors, operators, developers, construction companies, and financial entities. Our multidisciplinary approach enables us to address contractual, financial, tax, environmental, risk management, and labor aspects, among others.
