Eduardo Koch

Profile

Eduardo Koch joined Nicholson y Cano during two periods: 1983–1985 and again in 2015. He has over 40 years of experience in his practice areas. Eduardo has extensive expertise in matters related to Infrastructure, TMT, Oil & Gas, Mining, and the development of large-scale projects in Latin America, the United States, and Europe.

He is a leading advisor to national and international economic groups in the aforementioned areas. His involvement in Public-Private Partnership (PPP) agreements, concessions, and infrastructure contracts spans diverse sectors such as telecommunications, electricity, hospitals, highways, gas pipelines, petrochemical plants, oil pipelines, hotels, and mining.

Additionally, Eduardo has advised investors in the privatization processes of state-owned companies at the national and provincial levels. He has played a central role in over 90 infrastructure projects, excelling in risk management, bidding processes, contract negotiation, and execution. His strong presence in the Latin American infrastructure market makes him an expert in the field, recognized for his work across all stages of complex projects.

He is an active member of the International Bar Association, participating in the Infrastructure and Construction Subcommittee and the Arbitration Commission. Throughout his career, Eduardo has been a professor in various courses at the Faculty of Law at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and at the National University of La Plata.

Education

Eduardo holds a law degree from the National University of La Plata, an Executive Program from IMD (Switzerland), and a Program on Negotiation from Harvard Law School (United States).
