Juan Martín has more than 20 years of experience in banking law, capital markets, and corporate finance. He regularly advises financial institutions, companies, and public entities on the structuring, negotiation, and implementation of complex financing transactions, both public and private.
His practice focuses particularly on the structuring of financial trusts, secured and unsecured credit facilities, trade finance, leasing transactions, investment project financing, public securities issuances, debt renegotiations, restructurings, and regulatory matters. He has participated in more than 2,000 credit securitization transactions, advising trustees, settlors, arrangers, and underwriters, representing over 50% of the Argentine market.
He also has extensive experience in equity and debt offerings, including share issuances, bonds, initial public offerings (IPOs), tender offers (OPAs), spin-off and merger processes, and capital market listings, actively coordinating with the National Securities Commission (CNV), authorized markets, and Caja de Valores S.A.
Additionally, he has advised provincial and municipal governments on public debt issuances. Prior to entering private practice, he served as an officer at the National Securities Commission, as part of the Issuers Department, where he was involved in the review of public offering authorization filings and the drafting of capital markets regulations.
He is a member of the Buenos Aires City Bar Association.
