María Victoria joined Nicholson y Cano in July 2013. She has extensive experience in Corporate Law, advising local and multinational companies. She specializes in contractual, corporate, commercial law matters, economic regulation, M&A, and Personal Data Protection.
She has been involved in a large number of local and international commercial transactions and mergers and acquisitions. She advises multinational companies such as Adidas, SCJ Johnson, Boehringer, Whirlpool, and Petronas Lubricants on matters within her specialty, with a particular focus on corporate and commercial issues.
She is a member of the Public Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires and the Bar Association of the City of La Plata.
Education
She is a lawyer graduated with honors as the top student of her class at the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the National University of La Plata in 1995. Additionally, she completed a Master’s in Business Law at the School of Economics and Business Administration (ESEADE).
Awards
Her outstanding professional career has been recognized with the “Mujeres Profesionales de la Ciudad de La Plata” award in 1995, as well as in the 2014, 2015, and 2016 editions of Best Lawyers in Argentina in the areas of Corporate Law and M&A. In 2018, she received the prestigious “General Corporate Award” for Argentina at the Client Choice Awards.
