Eduardo has been a partner at Estudio Cárdenas since 1982, and currently works as a consultant for Estudio Nicholson y Cano Abogados.
Since 1981 he has developed an intense specialization in banking and financial law, as a lawyer for numerous national and foreign financial entities, having intervened in the creation of new financial entities and in processes of acquisition, merger and sale of financial entities.
He has participated in the structuring of syndicated loan operations, capital market transactions, as well as in the structuring of trusts of various kinds.
He has advised various financial entities on aspects related to financial regulation and has assumed the defense of the same in financial summaries.
He has extensive experience in foreign exchange matters and has assumed the defense of financial entities and companies of various kinds in foreign exchange criminal proceedings initiated by the Central Bank of the Argentine Republic from 1982 to date.
In the early 1990s, he actively participated in the privatization process of public companies, especially in the electricity sector (generators, distributors and carriers).
He had intense participation in the bidding processes, in the formation of joint ventures for the presentation of offers, execution of shareholder agreements, structuring of the financing of said offers.
