Miguel joined Nicholson y Cano in 1999. He has extensive experience in Corporate Law, providing advice to clients in the energy, oil & gas, telecommunications, agribusiness, automotive parts, and healthcare sectors, among others. Previously, he worked at Ledesma S.A.A.I., Destilería Argentina de Petróleo, and Parafina del Plata, where he was in charge of the legal departments of these companies. He has been involved in numerous M&A transactions and deals in regulated markets, representing both national and international clients.

Among his most notable interventions is his role in the preventive insolvency of Inversora Eléctrica de Buenos Aires (IEBA), where he managed the entire judicial process, including negotiations with creditors and the approval of the bankruptcy proposal.

Miguel advised Camuzzi in an international arbitration against Tecpetrol related to the pesification of dollar-denominated debts and assisted Sancor Cooperativas in forming a joint venture with Mead Johnson Nutrition Company in a complex transaction. He also provided advice to High Luck Group Limited in acquiring a stake in the Palmar Largo hydrocarbons joint venture of Pluspetrol S.A., as well as in other oil and gas areas.

Education

Miguel is a lawyer graduated from the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina “Santa María de los Buenos Aires,” where he graduated in 1981. In 1986, he completed a Master’s in Business Administration at IAE (Institute of High Business Studies), which allowed him to broaden his strategic perspective in the business and legal fields.
