Santiago has a renowned track record in advising companies on matters related to Administrative, Regulatory, and Commercial Law. Throughout his career, he has advised various foreign groups on their establishment in the country, having been involved in numerous M&A transactions and a wide range of commercial contracts.
He advises the boards of major national and international groups, as well as several chambers of various business sectors, on institutional matters. He is actively involved in litigation and arbitration, working alongside partners in the sector on significant cases in commercial, financial, and administrative matters. He advises clients such as ADEBA, Centro Azucarero Argentino, Copal, Grupo HSBC, Sancor, Ledesma, Cargill, QBE, and YPF, among others.
He has been a guest speaker at various conferences and seminars, both in Argentina and abroad. He is a member of the Bar Association of the City of Buenos Aires and the International Bar Association.
Education
He is a lawyer graduated from the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina “Santa María de los Buenos Aires” (1982) and completed a postgraduate degree (LLM) at Southern Methodist University in 1983.
